Grandma

Today was Grandma's birthday! (Jerry's mother) She had been a Christmas baby! When these pictures were taken she was 75! She lived to be 91! Today she would have been 103! Wow! We had a birthday party for her at our house for her 75th birthday. The whole family came, which was a whole house full! All of Grandma's kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids! Even Santa Claus came! He brought a gift for each child. In the picture he's handing one to Kurt. It was a very exciting day for everyone. Santa's appearance was a complete surprise to everyone, except my family and then even our younger kids didn't know. It was such a fun day!

Lord, I have such wonderful memories. Thank You for memories, family, birthdays, Christmas! Thank You for the meaning of Christmas. Help us to always keep you first.

Merry Christmas my friend!

Isn't it fun to remember Christmases past - praise God that the memories that rise to the surface are the fond and happy times. Praise HIM that we are redeemed and have experienced His 'scandalous' grace! How can we do anything buy rejoice!!

I love you friend!
