Did you watch the opening ceremonies? They were fabulous! Fabulous, magnificent, precise, beautiful, creative, outstanding, incredible, fantastic, better than the best, unbelievable...
Lord, You are the Creator. I praise You. You love the Chinese people, You created them. You saw the beauty of last night. Help these Olympic games to be to Your Honor and Glory.

I appreciate your sense of beauty. The fireworks display that accompanied the Athletes on Opening Night of The Olympics was certainly awesome. However, be glad you were watching it from Michigan rather than Beijing. What the tv audience got was a computer generated, unprecedented, spectacular viewing. In China, the people watching live saw two tiny flare-like blasts in the sky followed by a lot of nothing.
Also, the little girl who sang; she didn't really sing. Authorities decided her singing wasn't perfect enough so they dubbed in another voice with her picture.
Am I being hypocritical or unrealistic or something? It seems like cheating to me. Would our
country do that? I don't know.
You don't have to print this. What I have been reading upsets me. However, maybe it isn't even
true. I wasn't there.
