Grandchildren

A new week, already! Having two of our granddaughters here for the weekend seems to make time go really quickly. And we never know how long it will be until we see them again. Kids grow up so quickly. I'm so glad we have two grandchildren very close by, but with their busy schedules sometimes a week will go by and we barely see them. However, just knowing that they, along with the other 11, are busy with school and other activities and knowing they are happy and well adjusted in school and with friends, and seeing them develop physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually makes us very contented grandparents. Our thirteen grandchildren range in age from 21 years to six months! I wonder if we'll ever all be together again in one place! Geographically they go from Michigan (next door & 3 hours) to Illinois (6 hours) to Georgia (about 16 hours) to Malaysia (who knows?)! It's a small world after all! I praise God because He is Omnipresent!

You have truly been blessed with children and grandchildren Anita. Vel and I are thankful for the thee kids we had. We really enjoyed them. After having Lisa and Woody we were going to stop having kids but the good Lord said you must have one more, Chris. And, now we know why. We have four grandsons but no granddaughters. Oh well, we are still blessed too.
