Last Fling of the Season!

Autumn has arrived! Today we went for a ride in the MG...last ride of the season! It's time to put the little convertible away for the winter. It's sad and it's hard. We enjoy it so much!
The flowers on Dahlia Hill will soon die, the bulbs will be dug out and stored until spring.
We stopped at DaddyO's for lunch. Excellent! We ate outside in the warm sun shine. It was so fun and the food was so delicious! The waiter took our picture. Between us, behind some plants is our mg...too bad we can't see it better. Click on the picture and you'll see it really is there!
Lord, thank You for good times, blue skies, lovely flowers, the blessings of a fun car, and the reality that we are Your children! We are so blessed!

Daddy O's is one of my favorite places--I like the black and white and red color scheme.

Oh, I missed getting a ride this year! Sob, sob. Dahlia Hill looks nice but I still don't know how to get there. Maybe next year if I'm still here.

Dahlia Hill is a special place for me. It was the last place my Grandma visited before she went home to be with Jesus. We left the hospital and drove by Dahlia Hill, stopped and admired for a while and then I took her home. She never made it outside again. I was so glad we stopped that day. Every time I see the Hill, it has a special place in my heart. Thanks for sharing the picture, since I don't live there to see it much anymore.
