Troll!

My young friends and grandchildren love to hear stories about the troll that lives under one of our bridges. Picture #1 is at the walking bridge. #2 is a pile Haleigh wonders if he has a nest in!

Here they are looking for the troll that lives possibly under our driving bridge!
Oh, they can see two shiny eyes!

I just got a glimpse of him a few years ago as he zoomed out from under the bridge after our little dog, Pinto, scared him with her barking. All I can tell the kids is that he was dark, about the size of a pig, and he had a hunch back! The girls made some notes on trolls so I'm going to put them together and write out what they have come up with. The sign says: Beware of Troll! He has green eyes and brown scaly skin. The water is deepened where he lives. He can be found under a bridge. He is a short, dark figure with a hump back. It distracts him when we jump on the bridge and splash the water. You should have a long stick with you, but be careful because when you put the stick between the cracks in the bridge something pulls on it! Here's how to find him: with strong sticks, jumping on the bridge, splashing and looking through holes of bridge and last but not least, calling his name! Anyone is welcome to come and join in on the search!
